Planned work to your homes

To keep your homes in good condition and benefit from cost savings - for example, through bulk buying - we plan large-scale works several years in advance.

Planned work typically includes:

  • installing new kitchens and/or bathrooms
  • installing new central heating boilers
  • replacing roofs, windows and/or doors
  • redecorating shared areas and/or the outside of our properties
  • replacing door entryphone systems
  • repairing brickwork on external walls.

We decide which homes need items replacing by carrying out regular surveys of our properties to check their condition. We carry out redecoration work on a regular rolling programme.

Planning allows us to make the most efficient use of the money we have available.

Our service standards for planned maintenance

ยท We will give you information about any work planned for your property in the next five years, on the website and in our newsletters.

  • We will repaint the outside of wooden windows and doors, and all shared areas, every seven years.
  • If appropriate, we will give you a choice of colours and finishes when carrying out planned work on your home.

We will send you a survey form when we finish planned work to find out how satisfied you are. We will report the results on the website or in our newsletters.
